Project Planning

ESI works with the General Contractor, Architect, Home Owner, and Project Manager to help create a robust and thoughtful plan for what the Home Owner will want with regard to their energy infrastructure. This includes system composition, space planning, and budgeting.

Where ESI Assists During The Project Planning Phase

IDEAL SYSTEM TYPES

ESI's E-Team:

- Generates a list of energy needs/requirements for the proposed project

- Evaluates all potential sources of energy applicable to your project

- Reviews all potential code requirements that determine the best technologies to be incorporated in the Interactive Energy Grid (IEG) System

- Collaborates with the Architect’s and GC’s design and engineering team to optimize compatibility with the proposed building and site conditions

Budgeting

ESI's E-Team:

- Provides several options and budget ranges to meet the needs of the project.

- Budgets all material and labor for complete system design and engineering, utilizing the ESI installation team or the contractor’s preferred subs.

- Creates upgrade paths for future system growth potential.

Space Planning

ESI's E-Team:

- Gives your design team the space requirements for each component of the Interactive Energy Grid (IEG) and suggests where each of these components can be ideally located. We provide alternate locations if there are other factors (cost and aesthetics) involved in any suggested locations.

- Creates upgrade paths for future system growth potential.

Design & Engineering

The ESI E-team designs the energy infrastructure in coordination with the General Contractor (GC) and subcontractors to ensure the proposed system design can be implemented. ESI flexibly utilizes its validated vendors or the GC’s preferred vendors to meet design specifications.

Post-Project Support

After the keys are handed to the owner(s), ESI provides continued support as the point-person when identifying anything energy related on the property not running to spec. The IEG is remotely monitored, making the process of finding the issue and performing its repair dramatically easier and faster. We can quickly analyze any problem because the entirety of the home’s energy infrastructure runs through the central Interactive Energy Grid (IEG). In the industry, we would be referred to as the "One Throat to Choke".
